Safety Zone ("we", "our", or "the app") is a digital wellbeing app for iOS that helps users manage their screen time, block distracting apps, and build healthier digital habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal data. Safety Zone operates entirely on your device. Specifically:

• We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.
• We do not access your messages, photos, contacts, browsing history, or any app content.
• We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• We do not share any data with third parties.

3. Data Stored On Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and never leaves it:

• App selections: The list of apps you choose to block, stored via Apple's FamilyControls framework.
• Schedule configurations: Your blocking schedules (name, times, days, selected apps).
• App preferences: Settings such as Strict Mode, PIN lock, and focus session state.

This data is stored using iOS UserDefaults and App Groups (shared between the main app and the DeviceActivity extension). It remains on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

4. Apple Screen Time APIs

Safety Zone uses the following Apple frameworks:

• FamilyControls: To present the system app picker and obtain user-authorized app selections.
• ManagedSettings: To apply blocking rules to selected apps.
• DeviceActivity: To monitor scheduled time intervals and automatically apply/remove blocking rules.

These frameworks are designed by Apple with privacy in mind. App selections are represented as opaque tokens — the app cannot see the actual bundle identifiers or names of the selected apps. All processing happens on-device through Apple's system services.

5. Network Access

Safety Zone does not make any network requests. The app works entirely offline. No internet connection is required to use any feature.

6. Children's Privacy

Safety Zone is a self-management tool designed for individual users to manage their own screen time. It is not designed as a parental control tool and does not monitor or report usage to other users or devices.

7. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all app data by:

• Uninstalling the Safety Zone app from your device.
• Revoking Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings > Screen Time.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
